Holiday Spice Snickerdoodles
I recently went to a surprise potluck lunch at work in honor of a coworker who is about to get married. He is originally from India, so the lunch was going to feature primarily Indian food. I always prefer to bring dessert to a potluck, but that was definitely true in this case. I can’t eat spicy food and so have no experience cooking things like curry! Have you ever taken a vacation in early December? It’s a great time to travel, because its after the Thanksgiving rush. There are lots of good deals on hotels and flights. But there is one major downside – it puts you way behind on the holidays. I recently took a nearly 2 week vacation with my husband, which was very fun. There is a home video of me as a little girl in which my family is decorating Christmas cookies. Apropos of nothing, I look at my father, who is shooting the video, and say very loudly “I like ice cream and Christmas!” We weren’t even having ice cream at the time. I was just proudly stating my favorite things I guess!
